Ioli's baptism decoration and details

 

 

 

 

 

  

Ioli's baptism was a collaboration of friends and relatives. Lovely and willing people offered their help to make this baptism a fairy tale. Without them, nothing would become true. A huge thank you to my mother, Dafni, Aggelos, Sofia, Takis, Maria, George and Andreas. Also, Anta, Litsa and my father (and Kostis step father). Ioli's crazy godfathers Alex and Iro and all the vendors that participated in their way. Especially Ioli Michalopoulou for little Ioli's gorgeous forest dress, Christina Mathea from La Pouppe for Ioli's special baptism clothes, Maddalena Ambrosini for the fantastic shoes. Irini, from Swell Dame for Ioli's wreath (and mine too), Dora from Lazy Di for my lovely dress, Taverna Damis for the fantastic backyrard and delicious food and Vicky for amazing desserts. Last but not least, my amazing boy Kostis for all the support all this time. Love you :D

Designer's Notes: July desktop and a baptism

 

Well, June 2013 was a really busy month. Among other stuff, Ioli's baptism took place last Saturday and I think she now deserves to be named "Elf". Everything was fantastic and I would not be able to do all these without my dearest friends' help. Thank you all! Photos will follow very soon :)

There are so many things out there that make me smile. Childish things, naive and happy. Like Ioli's smile when she wakes up in the morning, or her red cheeks after she has been fed. Pure and true happiness! This year I am also preparing Ioli's christening/baptism (I never found out the difference) which I want it to be a big event :) We are planning at the end of June. A lot of stuff to be done! Phew! I was thinking of a "woodland" theme... already gathering stuff on a board on pinterest.
This week the source of the most of the pics is Petit Pot. I am a subscriber and keep an eye on everything Natalia posts. She has the best taste and her guides are amazing! Take a look here.

Hola everyone!
I decided to devote Wednesdays to stuff I like for my Ioli, whether they are childish enough or not.
I have A LOT of stuff like that in my favorites folder but it is difficult and time consuming to pick a few every time. Anyhow, I will begin with these two beloved artists/bloggers. Dave Barnes' work amaze me THAT much! Contains all the things I like, vintage childhood, irony, collage and silhouettes. On the other hand, James McNally is a blogger who blogs about japanese clothes firms, but special and rare. I fell in love with those too shirts the very moment I saw them.  Embroidered mermaids??? Heaven!

Designer's Notes: Happy November!

Hello hello! I am super proud to announce the birth of my little girl Ioli :) She is the cutest baby ever!
She was born on October 21st, late noon at 20:25. She is strong, cuddly and smiley :) This month's desktop calendar is devoted all the way to her and her lovely arrival that changed our life :)
